Chapter 1-15 : Let’s Buy Some Equipment! (part 2)
「I will take you to the armor section. Please follow me.」(clerk)
The clerk nodded and led us to a corner of the shop where many different types of armor were displayed.
「We have a large selection of armor, but unfortunately, we don’t have any for childreー I mean, for young people.」(clerk)
Hm!? Was he about to say “children”!?
「So you don’t sell small-sized armor?」(Kako)
I desperately suppressed my anger and asked the reason.
「Normally, armor for childreー Ahem. Armor for young people is made to order. People rarely buy that kind of armor after all.」(clerk)

The armor looked like a branded bag made of crocodile skin that I once saw in a department store, but it looked sturdy just as the clerk explained.

I told him again with a smirk on my face.

I want to combine them with my Synthesis Skill and turn them into a mighty super fantastic River Great Lizard armor!
「U, Understood. I think we still have some in stock. Please wait a moment.」(clerk)
The clerk went to the storage again and returned with four pieces of the same armor.
He put the armor on the table and turned to me.
「Ojou-chan, do you need something else?」(clerk)
「Umm… Do you have light shields?」(Kako)
I’m thinking of buying shields too just in case.
Armor is important, but I also want something to protect me from direct attacks.
「We do have some. Please follow me.」(clerk)
The clerk led us to the shield section and showed me their selection of shields.
「I recommend this one. This is a buckler, a type of shield that you wear on your arm. This one is made of a Giant Turtle shell which is light but as hard as steel. However, it’s a bit more expensive than the other bucklers because Giant Turtle shells are difficult to process. It cost fifty silver coins.」(clerk)
「I see. Can I have five of those, please?」(Kako)
「U, Understood… A daughter of a noble does have a lot of money, it seems…」(clerk)
The clerk nodded at me and murmured something.

Anyway, now that I got the armor and the shields, the next thing I want to buy is the weapons.
After the clerk put the five Giant Turtle buckers I ordered on the table, I told him what I needed next.
「Onii-san, next I want to buy weapons.」(Kako)
「Do you want the light one as well?」(clerk)
「Yup. I want light and sharp daggers, please.」(Kako)
「Daggers… Ah, I think I have the perfect one for you! Please wait a moment!」(clerk)
Again, the clerk went to the storage and returned while carrying a wooden box in his hands.
He opened the box and took out a dagger wrapped in an elegant-looking sheath.
He then pulled the dagger out from the sheath and showed it to me. It had a beautiful purple blade.
「Whoa… It’s so pretty…」(Kako)
「I know, right? It’s a mithril dagger after all.」(clerk)
「Mithril!?」(Kako)
As expected of a fantasy world!
Mithril is a mythical ore that only exists in games and anime. I can’t believe I would find it in this world!
If I combine it with the dagger I got from Maitena-san, I wonder if it will become a light and super sturdy Mithril dagger.
