I didn’t believe it myself until I talked with that granny NPC.
The NPCs in this world, or rather we call them the residents, have thoughts and feelings just like us humans.
The reason why they behave coldly towards players is because most players treat them badly and have zero respect toward them as if they are dolls or something.
The granny I talked with said that a player shoved her and she ended up hurting her back. That’s not how you treat an elderly woman.
I also got information from other threads that some players trespassed on the residents’ houses and stole their belongings.
I also heard that some players were molesting young female NPCs, thinking they wouldn’t fight back.
And the thing they dislike most about us players is our arrogance. Most of the players act like they are kings in this town.
No, we’re not kings. In their eyes, we’re just a bunch of travelers from another world who happen to visit their town.
I don’t say that you have to be a saint and help everyone. I just want people to start to treat them with respect.
Please think about it seriously because we’ll be doomed if we don’t fix our relationship with the residents.
