The villagers guided their sick family members into the tents and let them lie down on the mattresses that had been prepared there.
Before starting to give the sick people medical treatment, Elle examined them first.
She prioritized children, elders, and the people with the worst symptoms like internal bleeding and purple fingers.
The village chief was helping Elle decide the patients’ turns.

The magic circle glowed for a second and disappeared, indicating that the contract was complete.

Leaving the making of antibiotics to the fairies, Elle went back to the tent.

She was working really hard from the early morning until the sun started to set.
The village chief told her not to push herself too much, so she was able to take plenty of breaks, but still, working all day exhausted her physically and mentally.

She had lived her life without being needed by anyone, so she was happy that there were many people needing her now. Her heart was filled with warmth.

As expected, every one of them showed a sign of recovery. They and their families were thanking Elle with tears flowing down from their eyes.
For them, Elle was the true Miraculous Saviour they had been waiting for.
Before leaving their houses, Elle told them to bathe in hot water once in a while, keep the house clean, and avoid sick animals.
Five days had passed since Elle gave the sick villagers medical treatment and they were all recovered. The adults were back to work and the children were playing at the village square.
Elle felt blissful when she saw the sick people who were on the verge of death back to their daily activities.
It felt unreal that she had saved so many lives.
The next day, Elle decided to leave the village and continue her journey.
The elderly couple and the village chief went to the village gate to see her off.
「Ojou-san, I can’t thank you enough.」(elderly man)
「We are very grateful to you. I’m glad that you visited this village.」(elderly woman)
「Miss Little Doctor, you saved this village. On the behalf of my people, I thank you.」(Village Chief)
Thanking Elle, the village chief bowed deeply at her.
「Please raise your head, Village Chief-san. I think it’s my duty as someone who knows how to cure the disease.」(Elle)

Elle was just a girl, and she cured the black spot disease and saved an entire village by herself. If bad people discovered it, they might try to kidnap her.

The village chief turned his head toward the village. There was a man driving a carriage toward the gate.
「Good morning, Village Chief, Lady Doctor.」(villager)
He was a villager who usually delivered goods to the port town every month. The other day, he offered Elle to take her to the port town for free.
It would take more than three days by foot, but it would only take one day by carriage, so Elle gratefully accepted his offer.
「Lady Doctor, please hop in when you’re ready.」(villager)
Elle replied to him with a nod and turned to the elderly couple.

After saying her farewell, Elle turned around and got into the carriage.
