Chapter 1-15 : The Girl And The Cat Are Making A Great Effort (part 1)
The next morning, Yoyo made breakfast like usual while the elderly couple were sleeping. He made a simple soup and some biscuits.
As soon as he finished preparing the breakfast, Yoyo tapped Elle’s cheek with his paw to wake her up.
「Elle, it’s time to wake up.」(Yoyo)
「Mmm~… Good morning, Yoyo…」(Elle)
「Good morning. Breakfast is ready.」(Yoyo)
「Thank you. I’ll go wake the two up.」(Elle)
After doing some stretchings, Elle headed to the elderly couple’s room and knocked on the door.
「Ojii-san, Obaa-san, the breakfast is ready.」(Elle)
Not long after, the door was opened.
「Good morning, Ojou-san.」(elderly man)
「Good morning, Ojou-chan. Thank you for always preparing meals for us.」(elderly woman)
They looked much better than yesterday. The black spots on their faces were barely visible.

The elderly man opened the door and the village chief showed up.

Elle, who was brewing tea, put the teapot on the table and approached the door.

「Yes! She said she was hungry as soon as she woke up and ate a lot at breakfast.」(Village Chief)

The village chief was already there with two other healthy men when she arrived.
「There she is. Miss Littleー I mean, Lady Doctor, I brought you ropes, cloths, mattress, and men as you asked.」(Village Chief)

「So, she is the doctor?」(man A)
「The person who healed your wife?」(man B)
「Yes. She is a professional doctor from the city.」(Village Chief)
「I see… Ma’am, would you please save my daughter?」(man A)
「Please save my children too!」(man B)
「I will, but first, I need your help to build tents for the sick people first.」(Elle)
「Alright!」(man A)
「Of course, we’ll help. Let’s do it!」(man B)
The men started working while following Elle’s instructions.
There were some trees in the village square, so they just needed to stretch ropes between trees and cover them with clean cloths. It didn’t take long for them to build the tents.
After the tents were completed, Elle put some fire magic stones next to the mattresses inside the tents to keep the patients warm.
「Thank you for your help. Now, before you tell the other villagers to bring their sick family members here, please tell them to change their and their sick family members’ clothes. After that, soak the clothes they took off in hot water along with all other fabrics that had been touched by the sick family members.」(Elle)
「Change clothes and put them in hot water?」(man A)
「Is that really necessary?」(man B)
The men looked confused. They didn’t think it had anything to do with the disease and started doubting Elle because the scammers in bird masks told them weird stuff too.
However, when they looked at Elle with doubtful eyes, the village chief yelled at them.
「You fools! Hot water can kill patho… patho-something that causes the disease!」(Village Chief)
「Umm… It is called pathogen…」(Elle)
「Yes, that! Anyway, just do what she said, will you!?」(Village Chief)
「AーAlright!」(man A)
「Yes, sir!」(man B)
After being yelled at by the Village Chief, the two men immediately left the village square and went around the village to inform the other villagers.
After waiting for about an hour, people started coming.
「Alright… It’s time to work. I will save them all!」(Elle)
