Chapter 4-5 : Request For Early Graduation (part 1)
For some reason, Mylia felt tired when she left Celis Cathedral but she tried not to think about it too much.
（I feel like I need sugar… I think I will go to the shopping district and buy some sweets before going home.）
Mylia wandered around the shopping district called Relennu Boulevard, which was relatively close to the cathedral, and bought some cakes, candies, and a large amount of fruit that looked like grapes.
After walking around the shopping district for a while, Mylia went straight to her mansion without stopping by the academy.
She went to the kitchen and took out the grape-like fruits and some kind of white powder from her magic bag.
（Alright, it’s time to make jelly! Ahh~ I’ve been waiting to try it for a long time.）
The white powder was gelatin powder.
Mylia bought it a few weeks ago. She wanted to try to make jelly but she had no time to do it because she had been busy with Robin and other things.
（I heard that this powder is made from slime liquid and seaweed but it’s fine as long as I can make delicious jelly with it.）
For Mylia, eating sweet food was perfect for clearing her mind.
While humming, she peeled off the skins of the grape-like fruits and took out their seeds by using magic.
Even though she used magic, she decided to take her time, trying not to rush it.
She had never made jelly in this world, so she failed a few times but she was enjoying the process.
After doing trial and error for a while, trying to find out the best way to get her desired result, Mylia finally completed her ultimate jelly.
She learned that she used too much power when she cooled the jelly with ice magic.
（It’s finished! I think I will name it Supreme Special Seasonal Grape Jelly!）
Mylia made a large amount of grape jelly, put some on a plate for her to eat, and put the rest in her magic bag.
She then brought it to her room, sat on her desk, and enjoyed her ultimate jelly.
「Mmmhhh~!!! This gelatinous texture… This sweetness… and this juiciness… I can’t get enough of this!」(Mylia)
The texture of Mylia’s jelly was more chewy than the jelly she ate in her previous life. The sweetness and aroma of the fruit permeated the jelly, making it taste sweet and delicious.
Thanks to the refreshing sweetness of the jelly, Mylia’s tired brain from the tense conversation with Cardinal Copel has been cleared up.
While Mylia was enjoying her jelly, she heard someone knocking on her door.
「Mylia are you there?」(Chloe)
「Ah, Onee-chan! Yes, I’m here!」(Mylia)
The door was opened and then Chloe, Aria, and Leaf showed up.
「We couldn’t find you in school so I thought you must be here.」(Chloe)
「Ahaha… I was thinking of returning to the school but I was kinda tired, so…」(Mylia)
「Fufu. I see.」(Chloe)
「Ah, by the way, I just made grape jelly. Let’s eat it together!」(Mylia)
Mylia, Chloe, Aria, and Leaf then sat at the table in the middle of the room.
Leaf was still holding a seed in her hand, injecting her magical power into it. It seemed to be important to her, so Mylia decided not to ask about it for now.
Mylia took three spoons and plates for Chloe, Aria, and Leaf and put her ultimate homemade jelly on the plates.
「Here you go! Enjoy!」(Mylia)
「Hmm, hmm… It’s so good!」(Chloe)
「Mmm~! It’s sweet and chewy! Mylia-san, you really know how to make delicious food!」(Aria)
「Hehe~ I’m glad you guys like it.」(Mylia)
While enjoying the jelly, Chloe changed her expression and looked at Mylia with a serious face.
「Mylia, can you tell us what happened in the cathedral? What does the church want from you?」(Chloe)
「Umm, they want me to help them see the future.」(Mylia)
「Eh? What do you mean?」(Chloe)
Mylia explained what happened in the cathedral. She told them that the church wanted her to activate the Sage’s Crystal to see the future. She also told them what she saw in the black-and-white footage from the crystal.
Someone didn’t seem to keep up with the conversation but Mylia didn’t mind it and continued talking.
「Cardinal said that it will definitely happen sooner or later…」(Mylia)
「I see… That will be bad…」(Chloe)
「Say, Onee-chan, I’m thinking of graduating early and becoming the Atwood Territory’s landlord as soon as possible. I may be able to prevent the worst-case scenario from happening. What do you think?」(Mylia)
「Hmm… If you think that’s for the best, then I don’t have anything to say. But, first, I think you need to talk with the school director.」(Chloe)
「Yeah, you’re right. Thank you, Onee-chan.」(Mylia)
The next day, Mylia came to the school director’s office and told the school director about the future she saw in the cathedral.
「A meteor will fall on the Atwood Territory…? I see…」(School Director)
「Yes. That’s why I want to graduate early if possible so that I can become the lord of the Atwood Territory and protect it from danger.」(Mylia)
After seeing the prophecy, Mylia thought that it wasn’t the time to take classes and enjoy school life.
（I have to keep a watch on that musclebrain, Aaron and I need to do a negative campaign to prevent people from entering the Atwood Territory. After we overcome the catastrophe, I will do everything I can to develop the territory. There are a lot of things to do…）
Mylia might have a lot to do but Chloe and Aria would help her govern the Atwood Territory.
Chloe would be in charge of business and territory management while Aria would be in charge of securing human resources.
Listening to Mylia’s thoughts, the school director crossed his arms and made a thoughtful face.
（He… He’s so cuuute~）
His rabbit ears folded down when he was thinking, making him look somewhat cute.
「Hmm… Lady Mylia, honestly, I’d like you to stay at this academy for a little longer, but I understand the situation.」(School Director)
「So… Would you let me graduate early…?」(Mylia)
「Since becoming the lord of the Atwood Territory is an order from Queen Kushana to you, I have no right to hold you here. However, there’s a condition.」(School Director)
「Alright. What is it?」(Mylia)
「There will be practical training in the magic department soon. Lady Mylia, I want you to show your magic ability to everyone.」(School Director)
