「NOOOOO! Stop it!! Stop iiiiiiitt!!」(Aaron)
「Die, Aaron!」
「We’re finally gonna be free from this man!」
「Woohoo!!」(villagers)
The villagers were clapping their hands and shouting in joy while Aaron was shouting at Mylia with a pale face.

「Mylia, what are you going to do to him?」(Chloe)
Chloe asked Mylia with a worried face.
However, rather than worrying about Aaron, she seemed to be worried that Mylia would use a strange spell and cause an explosion or something.
Mylia turned her face to Chloe and whispered to her because she didn’t want Aaron to hear what she said.
「Don’t worry. I’m just going to scan his body and see if he has the stone or not.」(Mylia)

Aaron screamed louder when Mylia activated the spell. He was wriggling on the ground, trying to escape from the chair.

A bright light appeared from Mylia’s hand and illuminated Aaron’s entire body.

The surrounding people became quiet. Some of them looked somewhat disappointed.
However, Aaron kept wriggling and screaming. It seemed that he didn’t hear what Mylia said because he was too panicked.
On the other hand, Chloe was observing Aaron calmly.
She thought that Mylia’s new spell was very useful. She thought that it would be great if Mylia could make a magic item that works like that spell so that she could install it on the entrance to the town in the future to check whether the people who enter the town bring dangerous items or not.
（Hmm… It seems that he doesn’t have the magic stone… It would glow under this light if he had it.）
After confirming that Aaron didn’t have the magic stone, Mylia stopped the spell and lowered her hand.
Confirming that Mylia was finished checking Aaron, Chloe brought her face closer to Mylia’s and talked with her in a low voice.

「Does it mean that we are still safe for now? I put a barrier to prevent him from leaving this village, so there’s no way he could go somewhere to get that magic stone… Unless…」(Mylia)

Mylia and Chloe crossed their arms and thought for a while.

Chloe turned around and looked at Hypnus who was standing behind her.

The clever griffon, Hypnus, understood the situation right away and nodded to Chloe. He then flew toward the griffons’ nests to tell the other griffons without needing Chloe to explain further.
「I know he’s smart, but he still impresses me.」(Mylia)

「Fufu. He’s indeed a smart boy. Anyway, let’s leave the magic stone to the griffons.」(Chloe)
「Un. I hope they will find it.」(Mylia)
Mylia and Chloe nodded to each other.
Chloe ordered the griffons to find the magic stone, but Aaron hid it in a very safe place.
No one knows if the griffons would be able to find it or not.
「Oi! W, Why am I still alive? What did you do to me!? Answer me!」(Aaron)
「Geez, can you stop yelling?」(Mylia)
「Don’t you dare tell me what to do, you ungrateful little bitch! What did you do!? Did you just curse me with your spell!?」(Aaron)
「Stop yelling! Glue Magic, activate!」(Mylia)
「Mmm!! Mmm…?? Mmm!! Mm! MMmmmm!!」(Aaron)
There was no way Mylia could tell him that she just checked if he had the magic stone or not, so she decided to make him quiet by gluing his lips together with magic.
The villagers were relieved that Aaron had stopped yelling. They expressed their gratitude to Mylia.
「Great. He finally shut up.」
「Our quiet and peaceful day has finally come back!」
「It’s all thanks to Mylia-sama!」
「All hail Mylia-sama!」(villagers)

Suddenly, Bonnie clapped her hands to gather the villagers’ attention.
「Alright, guys. It’s time to leave this man alone and go back to your work. If you see him doing something suspicious, you can tell the griffons to punish him.」(Bonnie)
「Understood!」
「As you wish, Ma’am!」(villagers)
The villagers answered energetically and went back to their respective posts.
「Mylia, can you free him? He must go back to work as well.」(Bonnie)
「Oh, right.」(Mylia)
Mylia used Wind Blades to cut the ropes and freed Aaron from the chair.
「Fatheー I mean, Aaron, go back to work!」(Bonnie)
「Mmm!! Mm!! Mmmm!!」(Aaron)
Aaron stood up and yelled, but no one understood what he said.
He then turned around and headed for his post, stomping his feet hard on the ground as he walked like a grumpy old man.

Was kinda wondering if he was stupid enough to have it just sitting in his pocket like a idiot but it looks like his vengeful desire for genocide gave him the extremely meager intellect to hide the magic rock of doom…… good Lord that name sounds stupid too but that’s basically what he has lol!

I’m wondering how he expects to survive the meteor while destroying and killing the village?
I guess he might be so blinded that he hasn’t thought of that or thinks the magic tool will keep him safe.

Honestly, they could stop this doomsday by simply killing him, but I suppose that would be too easy
