Chapter 4-39 : Stuck On The Chair (part 3)

 

After seeing off Aaron, Bonnie let out a deep sigh.

「Hahh… What a troublesome person… Oh, right. Mylia, you didn’t cancel your spell. Will he be able to talk again?」(Bonnie)

「Don’t worry, it won’t last for long, but he won’t be able to talk or shout at least for an entire day.」(Mylia)

While explaining, Mylia handed the stones to Bonnie.

When Mylia cast the three protection spells on Bonnie, a rainbow-colored aura flowed from her hand and was sucked into Bonnie’s body.

Bonnie’s body glowed for a moment as Mylia’s magical power flowed into her.

At the same time, wild birds perched on the roofs of nearby buildings flew away when Mylia released an enormous magical power from her body.

「Eh? Ehh!? My body is glowing! What’s going on…!?」(Bonnie)

Bonnie was a bit panicked when her body glowed all of a sudden.

「Anti… What? I don’t understand…」(Bonnie)

「Anti-Magic Burst will protect you against magical attacks, Cat-Type Physical Barrier will protect you against physical attacks, and Mental Guardian will protect you from mental magic. Ah, by the way, you’ve seen a cat from my Cat Barrier before, right? Cat-Type Physical Barrier works similarly to it. It will summon a cat too, but unlike the original Cat Barrier that can repel both magical and physical attacks, Cat-Type Physical Barrier can only repel physical attacks. That’s why I also cast Anti-Magic Burst on you.」(Mylia)

Listening to Mylia’s explanation, Bonnie tilted her head. She seemed to be more confused.

Chloe sighed and shook her head at Mylia’s lack of explanation.

She then looked at Bonnie and gave her a dry smile.

「Bonnie onee-sama, to put it simply, you are now being protected by Mylia’s protection spells, but you need to be careful because her spells have the power to turn an entire battalion of knights into charcoal in one blow…」(Chloe)

Chloe warned Bonnie while remembering the moment she encountered Hypnus in the forest. Back then, she almost destroyed an entire area when the Anti-Magic Burst Mylia cast on her activated after Hypnus tried to attack her.

「E, Eehhh!? So that means that I’m like a walking mine now…?」(Bonnie)

Bonnie was grateful for the protection spells, but she was also worried at the same time.

Suddenly, they heard Aaron’s voice.

It seemed that he came back to tell Mylia to cancel her annoying spell on him.

He glared at Mylia while walking from his post in the lavender hut.

He tried to tell Mylia to cancel her spell, but no one could understand what he was saying, so he approached Mylia while glaring at her with an angry face.

However, Bonnie stood in front of Mylia, trying to protect her from Aaron.

「Mmm!!」(Aaron)

Aaron tried to shout, “Out of my way!” to Bonnie and raised his hand, trying to shove Bonnie away with force.

However, before he could touch Bonnie, the Cat-Type Physical Barrier Mylia cast on her activated and summoned a little white cat.

The cat then punched Aaron in the face really hard.

That was the third time Aaron received the Cat Punch from Mylia’s magical cats.

He was blown away a few meters in the air and roughly landed on the ground.

After punching Aaron, the little cat licked its paw and disappeared.

「Fatheー I mean, Aaron… Are you okay…?」(Bonnie)

Bonnie hurriedly approached Aaron who was writhing in pain on the ground and looked at him with a worried face.

On the other hand, Mylia was giggling behind Bonnie.
