The captain charged toward me again at high speed while holding his giant shield forward.

My body moved on its own, swinging my blade toward him, but he easily blocked it with his shield and counterattacked me just like before.

I had planted the ‘trap’ when I touched the ground under the captain; all I had to do was to activate the intermediate earth magic spell I learned a few days ago.

He was slow because of his heavy armor but fast enough to catch up with the speed of the water filling the hole.
He would eventually reach the top, but actually, that’s what I was aiming for.
「Gaah! That was close!」(Runx)
When he reached the top, I crouched down in front of him while he was hanging on the edge of the sinkhole.
「Hello, Captain-san~」(Alice)
「He-hello, Alice…」(Runx)
He was desperately hanging on the edge with his arms, so he couldn’t attack me. He couldn’t use his taunting skill either since he didn’t have a shield to block my blade.
While he was stuck in that position, I opened his bascinet visor and exposed his face. I could see his neck too.
He was smiling awkwardly at me.

I pointed the tip of my blade toward the red line on his neck and smiled.

I pushed my blade through his neck, and then my【Sever】Skill would do the rest, separating his head from his body completely.
The captain’s lifeless body then fell into the water and slowly colored it red with his blood.

I stood up and sheathed my blade.
Fighting against a knight with full plate armor and a helmet is hard, but I’m glad I managed to pull it off.
