Without hesitation, I pressed the「YES」button.
Soon after, a huge blue magic circle appeared on the ground surrounding me and the Leviathan.

While looking the Leviathan in the eye, I folded my arms and started thinking.

I don’t want to be selfish and keep the Leviathan for myself. I was just thinking it would be great if its power could be used to protect my friends too, especially the ones who can’t fight like Nansa obaa-chan.

The Leviathan tilted its head. It looked a bit confused at first, but then it nodded.
The reason I said that is because I don’t want it to think of me as a bossy owner. I want it to think of me as its partner.
「Next, it’s for your own safety. As a matter of course, I don’t want you to be harmed, so if you feel threatened, you’re allowed to do anything to protect yourself. The Leviathan nodded.
I’m a player, so I can always respawn in the church when I get killed, but I still know little about mythical beasts. They might not come back to life if they’re killed. Who knows? I just don’t want the Leviathan to die because of me, and I don’t want to experience such a sad farewell.
「Hmm… I think that’s all I want from you. Now, it’s your turn. Is there anything you want me to do for you?」(Alice)
The Leviathan nodded. It does have something in mind, but I think I already know what it wants.
It opened its mouth, closed it, and started chewing. It then repeated it again. I think it’s making the gesture of eating something.
「Fufu. I knew it. You want food in return, right?」(Alice)
It nodded.
「Alright. I promise you I will feed you enough food.」(Alice)
Feeding this huge dragon will not be easy. I will need a lot of monster corpses, and for that, I will have to grind more frequently. However, I think it’s totally worth it if I can have a powerful mythical beast partner.

I crouched down and stretched my hand toward them. Levy then climbed up and wrapped their body around my shoulders.
Levy was as big as a ten-story building, but now they’re no longer than one meter in length. They look just like a snake but have blue scales and fins. Even their huge, intimidating golden eyes look so small now.
I was afraid that I couldn’t bring Levy to a town since they might scare people, but now I don’t have to worry about that.
「Levy, let’s take care of each other from now on. I’m looking forward to going on an adventure with you!」(Alice)

I guess they said, “Me too!”
Levy looks so happy.
