「Whoa… What an exquisite interior…」(Kako)
The inside of the mansion was magnificent.
It looked much more extravagant than the houses of rich people I saw on TV.
The carpet on the floor, the table in the center of the living room, the stairs leading to the second floor, the chandelier on the ceiling, the decorations and paintings on the walls, the curtains, and the sofas all looked expensive.
I could tell that they were all high-end products made by professionals Even without needing to appraise them.
I wonder how much they cost…
It was a gorgeous house, but I felt uneasy being here, to be honest.
「Kako, I’m gonna call my parents. You and Mr. Catto can wait here.」(Maitena)
「Alright.」(Kako)
Maitena-san prompted us to take a seat at the huge table in the center of the room and went upstairs to call her parents.
I couldn’t help but feel nervous, but Nyat didn’t look nervous at all somehow. He looked as calm as he normally was.

After I thanked her, the maid bowed at me once and left.
I’ve drunk purua juice before in the blacksmith village. Nyat bought it from a food stall for me. It was delicious but I wonder how it would compare to this one because they looked kinda different.
The one I just got looked a bit thicker than the one from the food stall.
I grabbed the glass and took a sip.
「Wow…!」(Kako)
It tasted much better than I thought.
Nyat told me the one from the food stall was mixed with some other fruits, so it had a bit of a rough texture, but this one was smooth as if it was made with an electric juicer. It had a strong and much more natural taste too.
Thanks to the juice, I feel less nervous now.
Unable to resist its deliciousness, I held up the glass and chugged the juice at once.
「Pwaa~h… It’s so delicious!」(Kako)
「Hahaha! You seem to like it!」(??)
「I do! I doubt anyone would hate it.」(Kako)
「Haha! Well said! Purua is this territory’s specialty product we are proud of after all!」(??)
「I see. The farmers here must be excellent people for making these delicious fruits.」(Kako)

Judging from how delicious this juice is, I bet the purua fruits produced in this territory are mostly high-quality like the expensive fruits sold in huge supermarkets in Japan.
Now I’m kinda interested in eating a purua fruit as it is.

I raised my face and saw a dandy-looking man and a beautiful woman sitting at the other side of the table.

I was thinking that too, but… They look young, especially her mother. She looked too young to be Maitena-san’s mother. I thought she was her older sister.

Right after Maitena-san introduced her parents, I stood up and bowed politely.
