Chapter 3-6 : The Town Where The Sea Breeze Blows (part 1)
「Kako ojou-sama, wake up. We’re almost there.」(Thea)
「Fwe…?」(Kako)
I was sleeping while resting my head on Thea’s lap until she woke me up.
「Look outside. You can see the sea now.」(Thea)
I rubbed my eye as I got up and turned my face toward the window as Thea told me.
「Whoaaa!」(Kako)
The vast blue ocean spread to the horizon. It was so beautiful that it got rid of my drowsiness in an instant.
I had seen the sea a few times when I was still in Japan, but it was from land. I had never seen the sea from the sky like this. This is probably what it feels like when you look at the sea while you’re on an airplane.
I thought the sea in this world would be different. I thought it would be a bit reddish or somewhat black, but it wasn’t. It’s blue and looks normal, just like the sea on Earth. However, as a matter of course, the creatures living in it don’t look normal at all.
Some of them were swimming near the surface, so I could see them from up here. There was a whale-like creature with two big horns that were sticking out of the water as it swam, and a school of huge fish that looked like pop-eyed goldfish.
They were very huge, especially the whale. It could destroy a big ship with its horns easily.

Did Nyat just say that those terrifying giant monsters in the water look tasty? Are they even edible?
While I was wondering, the flying stagecoach suddenly tilted forward.

Normally, the buildings in the same place will look similar to each other, but in this city, some buildings are unique and have their own characteristics. The shape of the roofs, the materials, and the paint color of the buildings here are different from one another.

Thea smiled while looking around at the buildings.
